Yoga Nidra

Literally translated to “yogic sleep”, it is a state between waking and sleep, practised in total relaxation where awareness is progressively withdrawn from the external world and focused inward on the body, inducing a heightened threshold of rest, release and receptivity.  The brain is completely awake and open to “sankalpa”, an intention or resolution to reshape one’s personality or direction in life through positive repetition.
